Facilities

The learning rooms at MerkosWomen Inc. was designed by a leading edge Australian architect and built in 2003.

They feature the ultimate in environmental comfort, including climate control, ergonomic chairs, modern stylish furniture, and floor to ceiling windows flanked by dappled light from the surrounding trees.

Two purpose built rooms offer all the modern conveniences. Data projection and pull down screens, large workgroup tables, whiteboards, designer seating and library shelves featuring an extensive collection of central Jewish texts in both English and Hebrew, ranging from the esoteric of Chassidus to the pragmatics of Halacha. The girls have full access to the books available on the premises.

Adjacent to the learning rooms is a large private green-lawned garden, where in the warmer months, the girls often enjoy their refreshment breaks, quiet reading time, or teacher led group discussions. A swimming pool is also available for exercise and relaxation in the hot summer months, with enclosures designed to assure modesty and privacy.

A healthy lunch of assorted sandwiches, salads, dips and fruit is served daily. Fresh and healthy dinners are served in the evening. The girls have access to kitchen facilities for tea, coffee and light refreshments. Bed linen and towels are provided.
