Going Deep

Going Deep is an intensive program during the summer and winter holidays. Women from around Australia come to explore their Jewish heritage and get a taste of authentic Jewish study. The program is a combination of textual learning, creative workshops and interactive sessions exploring Jewish themes and contemporary issues, culminating in a unifying and uplifting Shabbaton. Each Semenary student is encouraged to each give one class/ workshop during the program by researching a particular topic and presenting it in full. They also act as rolemodels for the less observant participants who join the program.
