Program Levels

MerkosWomen is designed to meet both the needs of participants with limited exposure to Jewish learning as well as those with a solid background.

To allow participants to learn at their preferred pace, two streams of the program are delivered at MerkosWomen; one for beginners and one for advanced graduates of seminary (sem beis participants).

The Sem Beis Program is designed to meet the needs of fluent Hebrew speakers who read text independently. This consolidates and develops existing skills.

Beginners are tutored in smaller groups and receive more personalised attention as needed. In late September, 2012, MerkosWomen launched a series of beginner style learning courses.
